With help from Gordon and Derrick  the mower has now been serviced with just the air filter to be replaced. So now its ready for another year.
The unusual warm weather has allowed flying to start in earnest, but still there has been some high winds. Now its all change with bad weather with us again. Hopefully this will not last.

 

We now have the dates for the Gun Club, those of you on the internet have already received an email but just in case you missed it or you get your newssheet by snail mail here they are again.

Peter from the Camcorder Club came along on the 11th April and took some film of us flying and in the Pitts. Also he will be going to the Gliding Field . He intends to come along on several days in the year to make a short film about the Club. When filming the planes flying he seemed to have problems with 1) keeping up with the planes and 2) over exposure  due to pointing up into a bright sky. It will be very interesting to see the end result.

 

As the Sandown Symposium did not happen this year the first Show will be the Wings and Wheels. This is on 23rd & 24th June which happens to be one of the Gun Club dates so if you go you won’t miss any flying. The price is Adult £9 Concession/Child £8 on the gate. Advanced tickets are £1 less.
