Hi All
The weather at last improved in October, which allowed more flying to be done in that month than in July! Still better late than never.
The grass has stopped growing so cutting  has also stopped but the state of the runway is being watched if a cut is needed.
A large branch has dropped across the lane just beyond the entrance on to the field and is blocking the access to the winter parking. Hopefully removal will be in hand by the time you receive this.
There seems to be problems with Multiplex  ROYALevo and COCKPIT SX Transmitters. Link to this website for more info

May I remind you that the officers of the club serve for 1 year. I have had notice that the Chairman, Secretary and Safety Officer are prepared to stand for re-election. I have received the nomination of Adrian Smith to stand as Treasurer in place of Steve Fysh who wishes to stand down. I have also received the nomination of Alan Goddard to stand for the vacant post of ‘Silent Flight Secretary.’
Keith Miller wishes to stand down as our representative on the Kent Interclub Committee. The nomination of Keith Fisher has been received to replace him in that role.
May I encourage as many of you as possible to attend the AGM or present your apologies if you are unable to do so. It would also be very helpful to the Secretary and Treasurer if you could bring your cheque book and pay the 2009 subs at the end of the meeting, once the fees have been confirmed. This early payment not only helps our administration but ensures we have funds to pay the field rental fees due on 1st January.
