When I last wrote to you on 26^th February we were looking forward to some decent weather so that we could run the 5^th Round of our Electric and Thermal winter leagues.  The weather has been poor since then, resulting in cancellation of the Electric event on 5^th March. The 5^th Round Thermal competition remains scheduled for 19^th March and the 5^th round Electric competition has been re-scheduled to the reserve date of Sunday 26^th March.

 

Despite the poor weather Dave Ward managed to post an improved time of 22min 25secs for the Thermal winter high time on Saturday 4^th March (see website under ‘Competitions’).

 

Time is running out for improving the ‘High Time’ records so why not have an attempt at either the thermal or electric records before the 25^th March deadline?

 

Hopefully the weather will improve soon and those of you who have been in hibernation can bring out your winter projects for flight testing.

 

Remember that flying on Thursday evenings will become possible again by the end of the month!
