Hello fellow flyers,

 

 

Good news at last!

 

I have just received confirmation from the farmer that we can return to normal club flying activities at Leigh Park Farm with effect from tomorrow, Saturday 25^th August. I shall not be able to alter the notice on the club website regarding foot & mouth closure until ken Dean returns from holiday next week, so please take this email as the latest information.

 

There are several events on the calendar for the next few weeks which I will take this opportunity to remind you of:

 

1. Sunday 2^nd Sept.    BARCS Open thermal comp at Aldershot
2. Sunday 9^th Sept.     BARCS Open Thermal comp (hosted by Bromley) at Leigh Pk Farm
3. Sat/Sun 15^th/16^th Sept.       Southern Model Airshow at the Hop Farm, Paddock Wood.

 

Please note that there will be no TRF club flying on Sunday 9^th September due to the above competition.

 

The forecasters have promised an improvement in the dismal weather by the weekend , so let us hope that they are correct and that flying will be possible.
