Hello fellow flyers,

Just as we were getting used to flying in more summery weather and enjoying our return to Leigh Park Farm, foot and mouth has struck again. I spoke to Colin Bastable, the farmer, this morning (13th Sept) and he has asked us not to use the farm for the time being but to return to the reserve field near Leigh village.  Quite a few of you will have used this field previously but, for those who have not, the directions are shown on the map below. I will ask Ken Dean to place a suitable notice on the home page of the club website regarding closure of the farm for flying and will have this updated with any change in the position.

The field entrance is on the bend where B2027 caption appears on the map

Entrance to the field is on the apex of a bend in the B2027 opposite a lone house. This is about half a mile after leaving the Leigh village green

Best wishes,
