| Tahuna Cross Country was designed by Tim Hadaway went on to become technical advisor for British Eventing. |

It is set in farmland which is sandy soil and grazed by sheep, so the length of grass is good year round. The sheep are taken off when it is hired. |
| We wanted a course designed so that riders of all standards could come and have a go on well built jumps that were constructed of solid timber. There are 23 jumps with 3 or 4 options at each. The heights are 3'3", 3', 2'6" and 2' - 2'3", giving plenty scope for all riders and horses. |  |

The water jump is 20 m by 20 m wide with ample room to walk in without frightening the horse. |

| Individual Hire | £12 per horse |
| Training Club Hire | £12 per horse |
| Event Hire per day | £300 for first 45 horses, thereafter £5 per horse |
