HOLLYCROFT PARK BOWLS CLUB

We are a Lawn Bowls Club in Hinckley Leicestershire (England) which plays throughout the Summer months. We play in the beautiful, well tended surrounds of Hollycroft Park on Shakespeare Drive, where many visitors express admiration for the setting of the green.

It is a small friendly club with around 50 members playing matches against other clubs mainly from the West Leicestershire Area on Thursday and Saturday afternoons. The age range of members reaches into the mid-eighties, most of which continue to play in the Friendlies.

We are affiliated to the Leicestershire Bowling Association and the Hinckley and District Triples League where the club is represented by three teams.

The Green is owned and maintained by Hinckley & Bosworth Council and is open throughout the day for Members to play when no matches are arranged or maintenance is being undertaken.

There are several internal competitions which cater for all standards, giving everyone a chance to make a name for themselves and walk off with a trophy at the Annual Presentation Dinner.
