Seven - Studio album KKCD007
Released early 2007, Seven showcases the KK's in-yer-face R&B style with a rocking combination of classic and original tunes. Already enjoying BBC radio airplay, it's probably their strongest set so far. Stephen Foster of BBC Radio Suffolk says "..as the title suggests this is the seventh CD from Norwich's best blues band. There's a good mix of covers and originals. Four self penned songs sit very comfortably alongside versions of blues classics made famous by American greats like Sonny Boy Williamson, Elmore James, Bo Diddley and Chuck Berry. There's also a cracking rendition of K.C.Douglas's "Mercury Blues" which the Steve Miller Band covered in the seventies. Recorded at Purple in Norwich by Richard Hammerton and produced by the group themselves this is a must for lovers of blues with a swing and a sense of humour..." Take a sneak peek at Checkin Up On My Baby and Mercury Blues.
Way Down South - Live album KKCD006
In November 2004 the Keno Kings headlined the BBC Radio Suffolk Mini Blues Festival in Ipswich. Here is that show-stealing performance. Stephen Foster of BBC Radio Suffolk says ''.Rounding the night off... a band who've made a huge impact on the blues scene... sounding better than ever... THE KENO KINGS are Britain's shuffle kings and quite why they're not up there with the likes of Paul Lamb and The King Snakes and Blues 'n Trouble is beyond me ". Take a sneak peek at Jump Jive & Wail and I Can Tell.
