Torrevieja is a lovely coastal town approximately 30 minutes south of Alicante
International Airport and some 20 minutes north of Murcia Airport. Because Torrevieja
is an old fishing town, with it´s own harbour and small fishing fleet.
It is not a 'resort' in the package holiday industry. Those activities take
place much further to the North. The shops, bars and restaurants of the town
are open all year round, to cater for a population which is either resident
in the area, or enjoying a stay in a holiday home owned by themselves, friends
or relatives

Torrevieja has a fabulous range of facilities, apart from it´s wonderful
shops, tapas bars, restaurants and it´s incredible indoor market, which
offers a tremendous selection of fish, fruit, meat and vegetables throughout
the year. There are four magnificent 18 hole Golf Courses locally, and a number
of Marina´s which boast some of the most beautiful craft to be found anywhere
on the Mediterranean.

Torrevieja and it´s surrounding area has some of the most beautiful beaches
to be found in Europe. These beaches have earned a staggering 'Sixty-seven'
European 'Blue Flags' and they vary from secluded sand dunes with magnificent
pine-wood picnic areas to long flat sandy beaches extending for many kilometres.
As we move to the south side of the town these beaches change to breathtakingly
beautiful secluded sandy bays overlooked by towering cliffs. Torrevieja also
has two exciting, fun filled Aqua Parks and is served by a frequent and highly
efficient bus service, both locally and to all parts of Spain and on into the
rest of Europe.
