Wilsden Junior AFC (the club) is committed to creating and preserving the safest possible environment for children to play football.

 

Sponsors

It is the duty of all members, club officials, team managers and any other individuals directly, or indirectly involved with the club to be aware of and help prevent the abuse which children can suffer, be it neglect, physical, verbal, sexual or emotional.
 

Squad Pages

The club accepts that children's welfare is paramount, and all children, whatever their age, culture, disability, gender or religious belief, have the right to protection from abuse. All suspicions and allegations of abuse will be taken seriously and responded to swiftly and appropriately.
  League Links The club will ensure that there are practices and procedures in place to reduce the risk of harm to children and young people at the club.
  Fundraising Committee The club have in place a designated Child Protection Officer who accepts responsibility for monitoring all club procedures in relation to child protection issues.
    The club accepts and will conform to the Football Association child protection policy published May 2000, and the procedures and practices handbook published November 2000. The club will ensure a programme of Football Association accredited training for all team managers and coaches.
    All team Managers have been issued with Guidelines on abuse and procedures on what to do should a child disclose abuse.  A copy is available form the club - please use the contact us link.
