Sailing
Most dinghy classes are welcome, both single handers and crewed or spinnakered craft. If you have crew problems crewed boats may normally be raced single-handed but their handicap may be amended.

If you are considering your first boat, club members are always willing to advise you on the right craft for your specific needs.
There is a programme of both handicap and pursuit races throughout the year. Race days are Sundays year round, Saturday afternoons April to November and Wednesday evenings April to August. There are a number of special events including a Charity race, Club Open day, a Regatta at the end of August and races on Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
With the exception of Open Meetings, there are no restrictions on members sailing where they wish on the lake.

Social
The Club atmosphere is friendly and informal. There are many excellent social events throughout the year including theme parties, fleet evenings, Fireworks party and Christmas lunch.

During the summer, the Wednesday evening races are followed by an enjoyable supper and other times there barbecues and water sports.
Year round there is a bridge club on one afternoon a week open to local residents.
