JOHN KIRBY

John 'golden voice' Kirby started his musical journey at school where he met Kev and they started learning the guitar together. This got them invites to lots of partys. Kev introduced John to his cousin Cliff and they showed him a few chords, and they all ended up playing  in a folk group called 'Oliver Pardigal'. Later John and Cliff joined the band 'Ferry' with John on bass. After that  John helped form a band called 'Wavelength' who had chart success with their single 'Hurry Home'. John went on to do backing vocals for Sheena Easton and Mike and the Mechanics amongst others. He now spends his time being creative with bricks and mortar.

KEV SMITH

Kevin Smith started playing the guitar because his parents wouldn't let him have a piano. He showed a flare for song writing early on having the good fortune to be of the generation inspired by Bob Dylan, Simon and Garfunkel, Joni Mitchell and Crosby Stills and Nash. After many years with the guitar put away in the attic he revived his early interest in folk music and started  singing and performing again. He has written the occasional good song and decent lyric over the years and now spends his time being creative with emulsion paints.

CLIFF JONES

Cliffs boyhood hero was Hank Marvin which may have had some baring on him becoming a professional musician. After playing lead guitar in 'Ferry' with John he went to Scandinavia where he toured with a succession of  prominent musicians and bands. On returning to England, Cliff spent time developing his amazing one man show and building a recording studio. His influences ranging from Bert Jansch to Santana he is one of the most varied guitarists around today. He now spends his spare time being creative with gadgets.
