Sorry
there have
been no updates of late but due to family illness I haven't had much
time and there hasn't been much to report. 29/01/05 Two Dennis Pointers 503 and 504 now transfered from Sovereign to Keighley Depot and are the only two long wheelbase Pointers in the group with the single doors used on service. Both are to be painted into Zone livery starting with 503 on Monday the 31 January 2005 and will be re numbered 803 and 804, two more short wheelbase also have been transfered to Keighley but have not seen those yet as they are parked up at Burnley but they will be repainted into Keighley livery. Just completed repaint of Keighley's Royale 923 into Keighley livery and the branding of Leeds Airlink 760 removed, photo to follow next week, 922 and 925 to follow later. Two Alexander B6s from Keighley are to be donated to Thailand for the Tsunami fund , I have heard 653 and 224 may be the chosen one's.

Dennis Pointers have now been repainted into Keighley livery
and renumbered 779/781
respectively but are not yet on service as extensive work had to be
done to them to bring them up to standard.
New
vehicles are due to start arriving in the next two weeks or so, as
five are due to go on service on the 10 April and the rest on 23
April, I have seen an artists impression of the livery and they do
look impressive but complicated art work for us to put right after
the inevitable accidents that will occur. Starting Monday 14 March 719 Dennis pointer to be painted into Burnley & Pendle livery, 720 is going to Burnley also but don't know who is painting it yet.

on Thursday. 05/04/05 Fleet numbers with corresponding registration numbers for the new vehicles at Keighley are as follows, and for those who may be interested the Chassis No. is in Blue.
16/04/05 Have got photos of most of them now and have thrown some extra ones in too will get 1809 on Monday all being well then 1814 which I understand will be in Keighley standard livery ?, it is in the country somewhere but has not yet arrived at any depot. Started repainting Keighley & District B10ble 529 into Burnley colours but don't know when we will finish it as we have a lot of work on the new ones to complete before the end of next week. 29/07/05 1002 now at Keighley depot and repainted photo on line, have just started on 1104 Burnley & Pendle repaint to be returned to Burnley, after which will be one of the remaining 1001-1004 batch. 08/01/06 As from Thursday 5th January 2006 Blazefield Holdings Ltd in its entirety, will now be owned by Transdev PLC, a French international transport company, and the former owners Giles Fearnley and Stuart Wilde are to remain with the company for the next two years. As for everyone else who knows? If I am honest I have to say I would prefer things as they were but everything has to move on we always new this could happen, better Transdev than Stagecoach. Why not take a look at their UK website on www.transdevplc.co.uk/ Latest19/02/06 New livery for Harrogate Knaresborough service starting with fleet no 1800 and will be in the same style as Keighley shuttle livery red and white with the same vinyls except for the shuttle part, but what will replace that remains to be seen. We are halfway through the painting at this time so keep a look out for it either here or on the road.
