Freelance Abstracting, Translation and Proofreading

I currently proofread from Word or .pdf files, and on paper.  Texts handled have included physics textbooks, medical technical journal articles, medical instrumentation manuals and website pages. I am equally happy to proofread or copyedit on screen or on paper.  I currently edit and proofread for the Cambridge University Press and Lingualearn, and I am on the books of several other companies.

I was trained in copy-editing in house at the IEE and I have acquired a certificate (pass with merit) in basic proofreading from the Publishing Training Centre.
