LeRoc Modern Jive is great fun and easy to learn. This fun dance is great exercise and a great way to improve your social life. LeRoc was developed in the UK around 20 years ago, and has similar moves to those seen in many of the Latin dances, SALSA and even some similar to those found in ballroom dancing. LeRoc dance moves have been modified so they can even be danced to modern music. When taught & danced correctly LeRoc dancers can use style similar to the Latin dances as well as the elegance and closeness that's found in the Ballroom dances.

LeRoc is very easy to learn, with around 20 basic moves and an estimated 400 Intermediate moves, you are able to develop you own combination of moves and style. Most people are able to dance a routine of the basic moves taught that evening, by the end of their first night.
LeRoc in Deeside brings Professional Modern Jive Instruction to North Wales, we teach modern Jive including the Footwork often not taught. If taught correctly LeRoc Modern Jive can also be danced very slow and very close (called the Blues, dirty dancing), or to a faster tempo like chart music, and even to fast music like Rock n Roll. One of the great things about LeRoc is that its fun to learn and its great aerobic exercise.
You don't need to bring a partner. LeRoc is a modern dance that was developed to meet the needs of modern society. During normal weekly lessons (Beginner & Intermediate), partners continually rotate. This method of teaching makes it great fun and a good way to make new friends.
