The name "Fegan's" is still that which
the townsfolk give to this impressive
building at the northern side of the town.
Built in 1863 by the Rev.W.T.Sankey it
was originally St. Paul's College later to
become an orphanage under the name
of Fegan's Home. In recent years it has
become the home of various businesses
including a restaurant. The architecture
of its stone and brick exterior make it one
of the town's most distinctive buildings.
