This picture, (taken in the 1940s by Alan Pratt), shows the locomotive ‘Uxbridge’, standing at the approximate site of the proposed depot. The track which can be seen in the picture foreground, and diverging from the main length of line, is still visible in the roadway near to the Dolgarrog Aluminium Company’s factory entrance.  It is the only piece of the original trackwork still in existence.
