Welcome to the Family Bates Web site.
The site creation was prompted by the
finding of our long lost cousins in Australia and the need to exchange
information between us all.
It has now evolved into a family history site
and has many pages of information and many photographs. Much supplied
by visitors to the site and family.
I am looking forward to receiving some input from anyone with an
interest in any of the surnames and localities shown on the history pages
and any
historical contribution however small may help put another piece of the
jigsaw into place.
