- So you hire lighting and sound equipment what else do you do?
Well, we do anything and everything to do with; parties, conferences, bands, events, DJ's. This includes things like wireless lapel microphones. We can also supply lighting and sound engineers to make your event extra special.
We are now also offering lighting design for your events. give us a picture of your venue and we will tell you how to dress it with lights!
- Im having an event what size sound system do i need?
Most people just ask for a sound system, what we need to quote you correctly and effectively is more details;
Amount of people attending?
Who is the system for/What is its main function?
Indoors/Marquee/Oudoors?
Club/Rave style or band PA?
Background or very loud?
- Can you deliver and collect the equipment?
Yes we can deliver and collect. Charges start at £15.00 each way for the first 15 miles then 50p there after
- What DJ equipment do you hire?
We have Technics 1200's, Technics Mixers and pioneers for the Pro's and some easy to use equipment for the DIY's!
- How do I book/reserve the equipment/service?
To book couldnt be easier!
First you must accept our quote
We then ask for some personal details
We then check over your details and send you an official quote
We then ask for 50% to confirm your booking and reserve the equipment/service
Job Done!
- Public Liabilty, Pat testing??!! Help
Dont worry in most cases this is down to us!
Public liabilty: Yes we are covered, but only if we setup the equipment and it is not moved! (standard for all hire companies)
PAT testing: We have to regularly test our equipment to make sure it is safe for the public. This is done inhouse.
- What manufacturers do you use and recommend
Anything manufactured by Turbosound, Fender, Sunn 0))) or Fane for Sound.
Anything manufactured by Martin Proffesional for Lighting
- How do you work out labour charges?
Most labour charges are based on previous setup times, this enables us to estimate an overall time and charge effectively.
Please not that you must inform us about stairs, Parking and distance from Van to venue for full labour quotes.
- How often do you check your equipment?
When it comes back from hires and when it goes out on hires.
- I own a nightclub can you do me a long term hire
Yes, Long term hires are charged at a different rate please contact us for more details
- Insurance?
I'm afraid as soon as the equipment is in your care this is in your hands. All equipment must be insured against; damage, theft and Beer spillage!
