A native of Lincoln, Jane first sang solos with the Choir whilst still at school. In 1974, at the age of 12, she was given the princely sum of £1.00 for singing with us.
 
Since then, despite a busy schedule, she has maintained her links with the Choir, appearing with us on several occasions, notably at our Diamond Jubilee Concert in May 1994.
 
Acclaimed worldwide for her portrayals of the super-heroines of Wagner’s music dramas, she is equally at home in Italian opera.
