Mill Footbridge

A new footbridge was built at the rear of the old mill circa.1997 and the riverside walk extended.
This original bridge was soon to be damaged by floodwater and has been replaced with a more substantial structure.

Around 1978 this goat was a familiar site in the vicinity of the old mill which burnt down in the November of 1985.

In preparation for a Civil War battle re-enactment by the Sealed
Knot Society in the mid 1990's a temporary bridge to enable
spectator access to the battlefield was erected across the
weir by members of the modern army.
