Deep Finesse is a program developed by Bill Bailey to do double dummy analysis of bridge hands.  It analyses the hand on the assumption of perfect play and perfect defence to calculate the number of tricks that can be made by any declarer in any suit or no-trumps.

Deep Finesse can be purchased here: Click to go to the Deep Finesse web site

Bridge Analyser interfaces with the Deep Finesse software to produce double dummy analysis for hands you want to play.  The options are:

Click DF on the main menu (only visible if you download Deep Finesse first) and show a makeable contracts grid: Choose which trump options you want Deep Finesse to analyse Choose which declarers you want Deep Finesse to analyse Makeable contracts for each selected declarer and trump option

Click DF during play mode to show winning (green) and losing (red) plays to the next trick: Green cards are winning plays at this stage Red cards are losing plays at this stage
In play mode you can also analyse good and bad plays for over tricks and under tricks. Sets the DF analysis to be based on a certain number of overtricks or undertricks When ticked, the DF analysis is permanently on and shows the winning and losing plays to each trick Will tell you how many tricks can be made in the bid contract based on perfect play and perfect defence
Tick the DF option during print runs to show a makeable contracts grid on your printouts.
