This Iceland Gull has been frequenting Leathes Ham in recent weeks.
As always a big thanks to all those who contribute to these pages. 25 WAXWING have been frequenting the junction of Harris Avenue/Yarmouth Road (A12) since the 21st and were last seen on the 27th having stripped the berries completely by then. Possibly the same group were seen in Carlton Colville on the 29th.

GLAUCOUS GULL Larus hyperboreus
A first-winter flew north past Kessingland at 10:00 on the 7th.
An un-ringed first winter, presumably the individual from Aldeby tip, was at Oulton Broad on the afternoon of the 9th. It appeared to follow the rest of the gulls towards Lowestoft later in the afternoon. No sign on the 10th though.
On the afternoon of the 17th the Aldeby tip individual was noted on the roof of the easternmost large shed at Brooke Business Park. Initially on the north facing side viewable from Leathes Ham but then moving to the south facing side viewable distantly from the roadside across the football field opposite Kimberley Road.
Came to bathe at Leathes Ham on the 19th. It was still visiting Aldeby Tip across the border in Norfolk on the 30th at least.
