No 4 of a series of four paintings.

Inspired by winter hedgerows, the upper
hawthorn branch with lichen and a few
remaining berries was used to frame the
collection. Stones and a fallen branch lying
in the snow, covered in vibrant yellow lichen,
form a ground level viewpoint in this more
formalised L-shaped arrangement.
