The unique cricket game for the Mac

Play Test Match & Limited Overs cricket games on the Mac with 1-player or 2-player mode, batting and bowling, full scorecards, statistics and stunning 3D graphics.

NEW - All the coloured team kit

All the teams now appear in whites or in coloured kit depending on the type of game selected.  Any Limited Over game is now played with the teams in their full colours and of course, the white ball.  Does the white ball play differently from the normal red?  We'll let you decide if it does or not!

The umpires are much tighter now on the bowling in these games so wides are called if you stray down leg-side.

NEW - The Barmy Army has arrived !

New sounds have been added to the game and when England is playing, you will hear some strong vocal support from the Barmy Army.  Want to encourage England even more?  Then you can start off the next chant and see if it helps England to get that next vital wicket.

Featuring - WiiMote control

Now you have the option to use the mouse or for that extra realism, you can bat and bowl in the Cricket game using your standard WiiMote controller.  Play your shots around the ground with full attacking and defensive strokes.  Get the timing right and the ball flies to the boundary.

Select your bowling line and then use the WiiMote to bowl different length balls.  Call up the scorecards, wagon wheel or tracker displays all from the Wiimote.

Never has the game been so delightful to play and all the family and friends can join in.

Gameplay

In Limited Overs, you need to keep a careful eye on the run-rate to ensure you are in control of the game.  Bowlers are limited to a maximum of 20% of the total number of overs, so as captain, you must rotate your bowling attack.

The Mac uses Intelligent Fielders to restrict your scoring - favourite shots will be noted and the field adjusted to stop the flow of runs.  You need to think about varying your shots and look out for the gaps in the field.

And of course, you can still play the full game with the mouse if a Wiimote is not available.

The view from the boundary

After you have hit some great boundaries and put the other team in to bat, switch to auto-mode and you can sit back to watch your team bowling and fielding.  But don't relax for too long or your bowlers will soon tire!

The field settings are critical to keeping down the runs from your opposition.  All the best captains anticipate where shots will go and place fielders ready to take catches or cut off scoring shots.

You can also call up the 'Wagon Wheel' displays at any time to check on each batsman and place your fielders accordingly.
