The Pssst! Cocktail was a special album produced at the same time as the launch issue (1981) and in contained three strips used for an audio-visual slide show presented in the upstairs cinema of the promotional touring bus. The tour was managed by Paul Gravett, who worked for Artpool and went on to produce Escape magazine. The strips in the album were by Phil Littler, Philippe Caza and Steve Auty, with music by Doctor John, The Pink Floyd and Eric Satie respectively. The Caza strip was re-produced courtesy of Jean-Paul Dionnet at Metal Hurlant and re-worked into individual panels by Mal Burns. A version of the show will hopefully be re-created from the original slides and published here eventually. |
