More about QuILT
Mallard Woods Quality Assurance Programme

QuILT is based on the "10 dimensions of quality" developed by the Effective Early Learning (EEL) programme.

The programme is designed to provide support and structure for early years practitioners to reflect on their practice and embed thoughtful self-assessment into all their work.

Areas of quality
1) Aims and objectives
2) Curriculum and Learning Experiences
3) Learning and Teaching strategies
4) Planning, assessment and record keeping
5) Staffing
6) Physical Environment
7) Relationships and Interactions
8) Equal Opportunities
9) Parental Partnership,
.....Home and Community Liaison
10) Monitoring and Evaluation

The QuILT modules are a revolving programme of reflective practice, after three years completed modules are reviewed, ensuring quality remains high.
