His debut album, The Desert, was described by The Shetland Times as "a clutch of potent anthems and graceful melodies".

Edges & Spaces was recorded with some of Shetland’s best musical talent, including Jenna Reid, Grant Nicol, Brian Nicolson and Lise Sinclair. On its release, BBC Scotland presenter Tom Morton wrote: "Make no mistake, this is a superb piece of work."
