| Something that has always fascinated me is the idea that jewellery could also be a sculptural object to be viewed and that it can take on a whole new personality when it’s taken off the body. This was an idea I worked with to create sculptural, musical inspired pieces which have jewellery items that can be displayed on them, like a modern depiction of the jewellery box! | |||||||||||||||

| My newer work takes less literal inspiration from musical instruments and I have developed several ranges since leaving university to focus mainly on stylish silver, gold and resin jewellery. I take elements of the musical instrument theme for inspiration by focussing on their main shapes and repetitive elements but often contrast these with the bright colours of the resin and oxidising in many of my designs | |||||||||||||||
