An Dun (5) & A'Chaoirnich (Creag an Loch) (6A) If the ford at NN714773 is impassable, the footbridge shown on the map at NN716784 no longer exists. However the ford shown at NN718788 is now a bridge and also the dam NN714792 is also a bridge. Although the SMC Corbett guide recommends returning S between the two hills, the N ridge of An Dun is a mini striding Edge and is great in descent. The river crossing is easy and the ascent up A'Chaoirnich straightforwards.
