Both Meall Mor and Carn na h-Easgainn can be done from layby 171 on the A9 at NH733348.
There is the start of a track from the layby through mature forest to the steep rocky outcrops beyond. Rather than heading directly for the summit which involves arduous heather bashing, follow a track by the fence E to the obvious transmitter station. Just before it there is a gate and good track heading NE which, when SSE of the summit, turns NNW then N to the summit.
