Park at the entrance to the wide drive at NX611622 and follow it downhill to the forest edge at NX603624. Do not be tempted by the apparent shortcut before this - the going is hard with deep heather and bracken and you end up virtually at the same place. Follow the fence / wall N until near the summit where a bit of forest thrashing via a small clearing with a boulder gets you to the small summit cairn. As usual when ascending in forest, make copious markers so you can find your way out again (the way is obvious when going up but not when coming down).
