Our dental centres are absolutely "committed to care" (our group motto).   We feel that part of this commitment involves giving you freedom to choose from the three options outlined below.  Dentistry is, after all, no different from any other service provision - in that you get what you pay for!

To this extent, there is a very real difference between the various options that are available. Putting it simply;  the higher the fees are - the more time can be spent with you and the higher the standard of laboratory work can be provided for you. In this way the quality of treatment depends heavily on the option you choose.

Regardless of your choice however;  our unwaivering committment is that we will always provide your dental care to the best of our ability (within the obvious constraints of the option which you select).

We want you, as a valued customer, to help us continue to build our reputation as a group of dental practices which are absolutely commited to the care of all our patients.

OPTION 1 - National Health Service

Children and other patients who don't pay for dental treatment will be automatically placed into this category (e.g. Family Credit, Disability Working Allowance, Income Support, Maternity, etc).  This is the cheapest option for those who pay.  Unfortunately, we are unable to provide this option for new (fee-paying) patients at our Peterhead and Ellon Dental Centres owing to inadequate Government funding.  We are still committed however to honouring existing patients who are seen under NHS contract.
M
any advanced treatments are unavailable.

OPTION 2 - Grampian Dental Care

This option offers a VERY GOOD LEVEL of care.   The higher fees charged allow the dentist to spend more time with each patient; ensuring a higher quality and standard of the work to be carried out.
Good q
uality materials are used and any laboratory related work (i.e. crowns, bridges, dentures, etc.) is also of a superior standard.  The costs are approximately 2 times that of NHS fees.  This will be the category that new fee-paying patients at Peterhead and Ellon will be placed into automatically - unless the patient decides on option 3.

OPTION 3 - Private

This option offers an EXCELLENT LEVEL of care.   The fees charged allow the very best of materials and laboratory items available to be used and pay for the surgery time required to guarantee an excellent result.   The costs are approximately 4 times that of NHS fees.
