Saturday events in the Village Hall are ticketed, with prices shown next to the individual events below. Tickets are available on the door, but owing to the popularity of some events it is advisable to phone ahead on 01767 260041 to let us know you're coming and to avoid dissapointment. Friday sessions in the pub are free. Just turn up!

Saturday 25 April, 2009. 8pm - The Tannahill Weavers

Scotland’s Tannahill Weavers will bring their dynamic, traditional Celtic music to Sutton folk club for the third time. The Tannahill Weavers are one of Scotland's premier traditional bands. Their diverse repertoire spans the centuries with fire-driven instrumentals, topical songs, and original ballads and lullabies. Saturday 23 May, 2009. 8pm - Joe Broughton and a small line-up from the Conservatoire Ensemble

Joe and his brother Ben were the inspiration for the formation of Sutton Folk Club ten years ago when they attracted a large audience in the village hall. This time Joe is bringing with him selected students from his impressive Folk Ensemble. This will be an evening unlike others with its impressive talent and energy. Joe’s fiddle playing is like no-one else’s. It covers a range of blues, jazz, rock and lots of folk.
