Short dress in broderie anglaise, given by Myra Seton, Hillhead Farm, Galston. Had been in her mother's family - Fyfe of Springside Farm, Kilmarnock.
Bodice: tucked vertically from outer neck to waist and is tightly gathered at the waist. Otherwise quite plain. Sleeves - puff with broderie anglaise edging. Skirt: large 6" paisleys in crude melon seed and circular eyelets. Long shallow scallop hem.
