Bodice panel: Open design - lots of eyelets with space within the design. Does have some fillings and laddering. Bodice wings: edged at seams with feather stitch (possibly later addition). Edging pointed with eyelets. Sleeves: Cap, with one narrow flat frill with eyelets. Back frill.
Corded junction between bodice and skirt.
Skirt panel: trailing more informal and freely designed. Padded stitching of flowers and leaves including laburnum, also use of laddering and different sizes of eyelet becoming more formal in the lower panel with Paisleyesque swirls. Stylised gentian-like flowers with laddering and fillings and seeding. Wings: (unusually) finished on both inside and outside edges with scallop in needle made lace. Lower wings embroidered with eyelets and sprigs.
Badly altered from waist to sleeve edge.
