Every year
thousands of unwanted cats and kittens are abandoned
by their owners, left to fend for themselves. Some of
the lucky ones find homes, the timid, shy ones
usually revert back to the wild and become feral. Many of these abandoned cats are unneutered and kittens that are born in the wild, unless found within the first eight weeks, become feral. Many kittens do not live to adulthood, they die a terrible death through cat flu, infections and starvation. The kittens that do live to adulthood then produce kittens themselves, and so the chain continues... |
