Masham is ideally located for touring and walking in the whole of the Yorkshire Dales as well as the North York Moors with the historic cities of York, Ripon and Durham within easy driving distance.

FROM THE NORTH

Take the A1 South towards Wetherby and Leeds. Come off the A1 onto the B6267 to Masham. The slip road filters left and under the A1. Masham is around 10 minutes from here. Upon entering Masham take the left fork up the hill onto Silver street, follow the road around the right hand corner then first right onto College Lane. Barn owl cottage is at the end of the lane on the corner.

FROM THE SOUTH

Take the A1 North towards Scotch corner. Come off the A1 onto the B6267 to Masham (immediately after the Quernhow cafe). The slip road filters left. Masham is around 10 minutes from here. Upon entering Masham take the left fork up the hill onto Silver street, follow the road around the right hand corner then first right onto College Lane. Barn owl cottage is at the end of the lane on the corner.
