FAQ
How often is Decanto published?
Currently, it is published 6 times per year. The publication dates are normally within the first week of February, April, June, August, October, and December.
Do you accept submissions from overseas poets?
Yes. We welcome submissions from poets living overseas. The only thing we ask is that they are written in English.
Do you offer subscriptions?
Yes. The price for a years subscription (6 issues) is currently £19.00 / €32.00 / US$38.00. All prices include P&P. Please contact us if you require a subscription form or any other details.
Do contributors receive a complimentary copy of the magazine?
Sorry, as in common with a lot of other totally self-funded magazines (ie we do not receive any grants or funding), we are unfortunately unable to send out free copies to our contributors. We rely on sales of the magazine to fund the materials and postage etc to ensure that the magazine can continue. The only exception however, is the 'Centre Stage Poet', who will receive a free copy upon publication of the issue that they are in.
Who or what is the 'Centre Stage Poet'?
Each month, the magazine features a poet, who along with their work and a biography of themselves, share their views about poetry old and new and the kind of things that inspire their work.
How should non UK poets pay for copies of the magazine or other purchases?
Our preferred method of payment is either a cheque drawn against UK funds, or International Money Orders made out in UK Pounds Stirling (GBP). Both items should be made payable to Miss L. Stewart. Failing that, cash in your local currency will do the trick. Non EU customers should also add £0.50 to help towards the extra P&P required.
