SACRED REALM
GATHER ME IN
SACRED REALM
I shall feed upon this sacred flame
like holy matrimony.
And live those endless hours
cherished in my fulfilled dreams -
like one entranced through those nights
that fragile to the imagination charms
and all those wanderings that beckon.
Where love shall not diminish, nor spoil,
nor deaden, like the rose. Yet bloom
and rise and feel the sunlight.
Where thorns shall never crush nor rip
this fragile skin, nor darkness wound
this frail heart.
And I shall sleep in this happy melody
of past and future. Of worlds untouched.
Where angels speak in silent tongue
and cupid inspires all moments.
Where sorrow cannot speak
cannot trample the eternal sleep,
as I wait not, for her footsteps
and hear not, her woeful cries.
For here, there is nothing but beauty;
no eloquence more than this.
Paradise of lazy days, never needing
never longing, never fading.
And youth shall in spirit, keep it alive,
and endorse our sacred realm.
With pleasures from the heart and gentle
souls that innocence inspires.
I shall feed upon this scared flame
and drink the depths of time with you.
Where darkness cannot enter our promised
land and beauty lasts forever.

Inspire me in my hours of sleep
with words, immortal angels call.
Let me be the one you seek
let me be the one to fall.
Soothe the heart of longing, then
with melancholy song.
Gather me, to the eternal flame
where my soul belongs.
Let me taste the vine of love
where thine dreams commence.
Let this be our ultimate
in hours of goodness spent.
Gather me in – Oh! Gather me in
thine tempest soul of youth.
With words of paradises lost
‘Let me dream it truth.’
