	On this page we have given some examples of garments we had for hire on the day this web page was made. Please note that as our stock is changing on a daily basis, you will need to let us know of your requirements ASAP such that we can compile a list of what we should have at that time which might be suitable.


	VINTAGE SIZES


	Whilst our collection is modest in number, we do stock a wide range of items in UK sizes from 8 - 16. Do bear in mind that over the decades, the actual sizes vary, and therefore what was a UK10 in 1950, probably isn’t now. In order to suggest suitable garments we will therefore need as much of the wearer’s size information that you can give us.


	A FEW EXAMPLES


	Please ASK for a full set of measurements for the items you are interested in.


	A lovely example of a 70’s bridesmaid dress in an old UK size 10. Remember our comments about vintage sizing though.

		The sort of flair typically expected from a full-length pleated gown.

			A full-circle spotty dressy-dress. Full circle implies just that; i.e. a full circle of fabric in the skirt. UK14


	A full-length black evening gown with attached cape to the left (UK 10-12) and a lovely pink bridesmaid outfit with pleated sleeves in a UK12-14 to the right.

	50’s nylon ‘house dress’ with distinctive multiple groups of pleats in the skirt. UK 8-10

		‘Sophisticated lady-of-the-house’ button thru 90’s dress by Alexon. Timeless, but perfect for many uses. UK10


	Peasant top dressy-dress with matching belt and tie top. Typical 70’s look. UK 12-14

			Glitzy evening frock with strappy sequin top. Gorgeous and VERY popular! UK12

	Lovely example of a mint green 70’s strappy sleeveless dinner dress with matching short jacket and tie waist.


	As stated above, these are only a few examples of the garments we can offer for either short or long term hire. Please contact us with a date or dates, such that we can email you an up-to-date list of our stock in Excel spreadsheet format, for that time.


	We are located in central Hampshire and recommend you arrange an appointment to view / try on the item/s that you wish to hire. This way you can ensure that the item/s chosen are of the correct size. Remember that ANY damage to the hire item (including split or damaged seams due to ill fitting) will be fully chargeable. NO form of alterations to hire garments are permitted.
