For those interested in the idea of taking their own pictures, but do not have their own facilities, we can offer our studio for hire by the hour with lights included. Complimentary help is provided throughout the hire session to help with setting up and adjusting the lighting to suit the subject and effects required.

The studio is compact but well equipped with Bowens professional lighting, (usually up to 4.5KJ available for a hire session) plus various heads, soft boxes, brollies, gels, flash-spot, strip-lite, bottletops and IR flash triggering.

Basic white wall usable area is approx 2.1M x 2.36M with a maximum throw of approx 4.26M which will cover both portrait and full length shots. Our current rate is £17.50 per hour inclusive, with a minimum booking of two hours.

Interested? Well first you’ll need to check that you have suitable camera equipment. Whilst most decent digital cameras will allow for an external flash trigger, you’ll have to check this out for your particular model. Our IR triggering is ideal for digital as it is very low voltage and therefore cannot harm the electronics. The trigger box itself does however need to trigger from a ‘hot shoe’ contact on a camera or a standard coaxial socket as found on almost every SLR camera since the 1960’s.
