In past years we used to hire out a local hall in the Mid-Hampshire area and run tuition sessions for anybody interested in trying their hand at studio photography. Unfortunately these sessions have been suspended due to lack of interest. Shoots used to take place on a weekday evening offered the amateur the opportunity to photograph a professional model using professional studio flash equipment. Each session lasted about 21/2 hours long and everyone was offered several opportunities to direct and photograph the model using their own camera. We did NOT permit a free-for-all and therefore let everyone take their pictures in turn. Advice was on hand all the time to ensure that everyone understood exactly what was going on and has some great shots to take home with them. There were usually either two or three changes of clothing / backdrop during the evening and before everyone was let loose to take their pictures, we used to take some test shots to give an idea of the type of pictures that were being taking. Cost was £25 per person per session. Please register your interest and we’ll keep you informed should we have sufficient interest to reenstate the sessions. We do however, offer ONE-2-ONE studio tuition sessions in our own portrait studio from £35.00 for two hours. This includes use of lights etc. but you will have to bring along your own model. Studio cameras are available for hire for the duration of the session.
