We have re-started hiring out a local hall in the Mid-Hampshire area to run themed Studio Modelling Workshops for anybody interested in trying their hand at studio flash photography. Shoots take place on weekday evenings, offering both amateur and professional photographers the opportunity to shoot a professional model using professional studio flash equipment. Each session lasts about 21/4 hours long and everyone is offered several opportunities to direct and photograph the model using their own camera. We do NOT permit a free-for-all, so everyone is able to take their pictures in turn, check their results, watch the directing skills of others, then try again. Advice is always on-hand to ensure that everyone understands exactly what is going on and has some great shots to take home with them. There are usually either two or three changes of clothing / backdrop / theme during the evening. Before everyone is let loose to take their pictures, we run-off a couple of test shots to give an idea of the type of pictures that can be taken. Cost is £35 per person per session. We also offer ONE-2-ONE Studio Tuition Sessions in our own portrait studio from £25.00 for one hour. This includes the use of lights etc. although you will have to bring along your own model, unless you wish us to source you a great model for your own shoot.
