I retired from IT and programme management in 2005 and now spend most of my time enjoying gardening, golf, local history, relaxing with friends and family, and the company of our Springer Poppy (left).

Rosemary does the serious family history work, not me, but if you're really desperate you can look at my family history (as of 22 September 2008). With grateful thanks to Andrew Turpin for almost all the Turpin line.

I've put together a few photographs of our garden which show the lengths to which I still have to go in order to get anything both tidy and yet attractive. You can scan the current set of garden photographs if you're brave.

A number of us (Rosemary, Quita, Mike, Angie, Sonya and me) have been scanning a lot of the old family photographs for posterity and they are available here as a family archive.

My sister Quita and I try to go on holiday together at least once a year usually with our friend Beryl. I've made a photographic record available for those interested in looking at someone else's holidays snaps.
