About the Gremlins

The History

Back in 2004 the daughters of a couple of the coaches at Gravesend Rugby Club expressed an interest in playing Rugby and thus the Gravesend Gremlins were born.

From those humble beginnings and thanks to the fantastic support from Gravesend Rugby Club the team has gone from strength to strength.

From one or two experienced ex-mini section players and a few more that had never played the game before the team has developed into possibly the most successful girls rugby side in the county.

Since day one the Gremlins have had one ethos - ENJOYMENT FOR ALL.

Whether that is training, playing or the all important social scene we can guarantee  a warm welcome with the Gremlins.

The seasons on 2006/7 and 2007/8 have proved to be a great success with Gremlins becoming probably the most successful side in Kent.
