About Alan

Alan became a full-time Children's Entertainer in Bedfordshire in 1984 and over the years entertained thousands of children of varying ages at many different events and occasions ranging from Birthday Parties to Stage Shows.

Eight years later Alan moved from Luton to Bournemouth in Dorset and quickly established himself there as a popular entertainer at private functions as well as the Holiday Centre circuit.

In 1997 Alan, and by this time Ricki Rabbit, returned to Luton and has been entertaining local children ever since.

Alan is a member of Equity and has full Public Liability Insurance cover for all events as well as enhanced CRB clearance for working with children. Furthermore, he is the brother of David Tomkins who with his puppet friend Cheeky Dog is another popular local entertainer.
