The Shows
"Thank you for kindly providing Children's Entertainment at our Royal Opening of the Children's Hospice."

Age Groups:

Shows for the under-5's - a 40 to 50 min show with Magic, Puppet and Balloon modelling (where appropriate), both lively and gentle and tailored to suit this particularly appreciate age range. Occasionally I will do longer shows - please enquire.

Shows for 5's and older - a 1 hour show or Full Party show (2 hrs with interval) for Birthdays etc. At some events 20/30 min. shows with breaks are required.

The Shows

Birthdays, Weddings and Christenings

One-hour show (no interval)
    

I do two types of one-hour show:

Having a Summer party? How about a Punch & Judy Show in your garden!

Wedding? Entertainment essential for the children during the speeches.

Two-hour show (with 20-30 minute interval)
 

A mixture of Sit-down show and a mini-disco with usually 45 minutes entertainment before the break (for lunch or tea) and 45 minutes after.

Preschools, Mother & Toddler Groups etc.

A 45 min. sit-down show with Comedy Magic, Puppet, and Balloon Modelling. Lots of fun and laughter, lively but gentle, and particularly suitable for the 2½ to 4½ old. Themed shows at Christmas are very popular and can be booked early in the year.

Schools

Usually a one hour show with Comedy Magic, Puppet, Balloon Modelling, and Competitions suitable for audiences of any size ranging from 5yrs upwards and
keeping all ages involved.

Corporate Events

Comedy Magic, Mini-Disco, Puppets, Punch & Judy, Balloon Modelling and, for older children and/or adults, Close-up Magic can be incorporated into your event or occasion.

Fetes and Carnivals
"You brought so much magic to the children of all ages at our Carnival that the committee agreed unanimously to invite you again to entertain at next years."

Usually required to perform two, three, or four shows (20-30 mins each) throughout the event. At least one of the shows includes Punch & Judy with Magic and Ricki Rabbit in the others. All shows different with an emphasis on fun, laughter, and audience participation.

Alan comes fully self-contained and insured.

Shopping Centres

Many shows during the day which can include Comedy Magic, Puppets incl. Punch & Judy, Balloon Modelling and also, where appropriate, marketing of Products or Services.

Pub Fun Days

Maybe a one hour show, maybe a number of shows during day to include Magic, Puppet, Punch & Judy, Balloon Modelling and Mini-Disco. You choose.

Christmas Shows

From a 45min Pre-School show to a one hour School show to a two or maybe three hour Corporate function. Comedy Magic, Puppets, Punch & Judy, Mini-Disco, Balloon Modelling etc. with a Xmas theme. Where appropriate, assist with Father Xmas - we can even provide him! Any numbers catered for. All ages.

Comedy Magic

Kid's magic with the emphasis on fun, laughter, audience participation, and when appropriate special involvement for the Birthday child. Shows tailored to suit the ages of the children from Mother & Toddler groups through to Family Audiences.

Mini Discos

Lights and chart music old and new (I watch"Top of the Pops" regularly.) Games and competitions involving all of the children all the time. Suitable for house or home, but not a flat on the 25th floor please!

Puppets

RICKI RABBIT - loved by young and old and up to his usual tricks annoying me at every opportunity. He might be only a puppet but he performs magic and does his own shopping!

And don't forget that long-time favourite...

Punch & Judy

A traditional show featuring Mr Punch and his wife Judy and the Baby. Also appearing are Coco the Clown, the Policeman, the Crocodile, and making a short guest appearance the String of Sausages. No sign or mention of the Hangman though in a show suitable for all ages.

Running a Summer Garden Party or a Fete or Carnival? If dry, ideal for entertainment with Punch & Judy.

Balloon Modelling

Colourful Balloon Modelling gives plenty of scope for comedy in the show, and the birthday child always receives a special balloon model. All the children at the party can take a model home for a small charge and by prior arrangement. If required, models can be made on the move (store promotion, corporate etc.) or from table to table (weddings, christenings etc.)

Party Bags

Can be provided currently at the cost of £1.00 a bag, but you only pay for the bags you need on the day.

Close-up Magic (Adults)

This is where my brother David comes in. Sophisticated Close-up Tabletop Magic can be provided at any occasion large or small, private or Corporate event, in tandem with Children's or Family Entertainment or separate.

Please Note:

For all shows I bring everything I require to provide the entertainment.

Reference to Child Safety is included in many of my shows.

We will usually arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start of our show(s) and, where appropriate, provide background music, get the children to sing "Happy Birthday" and give out party bags at the end.
