Personal Profile I originally trained as a health care worker but decided to go back to full time education so that I could combine both my caring and creative abilities and teach workshops within the community. During my studies I acquired a lot of different skills using a variety of techniques and materials such as mould making, slip casting and stone carving, before specialising in kiln cast glass at Degree level.

I enjoy working with people and was a volunteer at Lincoln Mind in 2008 where I ran a series of craft workshops. I am also involved with ArtsNK which is an arts programme run by the Lincolnshire County Council.

Since graduating in 2009 I have enrolled on a post graduate teaching course and opened a studio in Ruskington where I run glass workshop and workshops within the community which are aimed at schools, adult and children services, special needs and community groups.

In order to continue to develop my own work as an artist both locally and nationally I am a member of the Society of Designer Craftsmen and Contemporary Crafts Network.
