The Prutour Of Britain

On Monday 24th May, the Prutour passed through my then home town of Haywards Heath. With them passing only 50 yards from my door, I just had to go and watch. It also gave me the opportunity to practice using my new digital camera.

Policing seemed to be provided by a variety of forces. The motorcycle was from Norfolk

 

 

 The leaders, including race leader Leon Van Bon (Rabobank)

 

 Around fifteen seconds later, and still all in one bunch. So, these digital cameras are not much use at action, especially as it takes fifteen seconds to be ready for the next shot.

 

 The Broom Wagon. Every race should have one.
