SAA 785 P - A rusty Nissan estate, which I only actually owned half of, sharing it with my flat-mate. Bought from an Air Traffic Controller in a Cheltenham Wine Bar, for £200.

YPN 116 Y - A dark blue Nissan Sunny hatchback. Bought shortly after finally passing my driving test.

Owned :- February - June 1990

Best Thing About It :- On the inside of the doors, there were these novel handle things. When you turned them, the window went up and down. Weird.

Worst Thing About It :- The stereo only had two speakers, and I had to fit those myself.

WTW 300 W - Daimler Sovereign 4.2, in powder blue, with blue leather.

Owned :- June 1990 - June 1991

Best Thing About It :- Supreme comfort from one of the first fuel injected Series Threes.

Worst Thing About It :- The nearside windows didn't open, after Dad blew the electric motors up.

Best Things About It :- An unusual colour, Sable Brown. The 10 CD stereo system that I had fitted

Worst Thing About It :- Shortly after replacing the cracked windscreen, another stone hit it and left another chip.

Owned :- January 1999 - November 2001

Best Things About It :- Stacks of bits to play with. At 75 mph, the suspension lowered, for better aerodynamics.

Worst Thing About It :- The electrics started doing some weird stuff, after the bus ran into it and wrote it off.

M 756 VVE  Ford Scorpio Ultima 2.0 Estate

Owned :- December 2001 - May 2004

Best Things About It :- An estate, so we can get all of our stuff in, when we go camping

Worst Thing About It :- Within a couple of months, someone hit it in the Car Park, smashing the rear bumper and disappearing. Bastard !!

Then within months of replacing the bumper, someone else did the same thing !!

Three new rear bumpers in two and a half years and no time to go camping any more - so it had to go, and made room for ...

Best Thing About It :- A nippy little mover that merely sips at the petrol.

Worst Thing About It :- Every so often you suddenly remember how handy it was to have those things that you used to take for granted, like power steering, air conditioning or a CD player.
